I am so excited to be back on-line and able to view this site, and many others, that I was not able to on my old system. This will be a boost for exposure and advocacy for TARA!

he really is a lovely boy and its the best news ive had in weeks, please friends keep donating and keep buying from tara, all there boys and girls need a forever home and please use the tara market on saturday, show your suport by showing your face sell or buy dosent´´ matter, suport tara, more importantly suport the animals of gran canaria, and can we all keep an eye out for the lost doggys, if it was my dog out there i would need a hospital bed

i only here 10 day in gran canaria but need some english reading so travelled, by bus to Tara shop in Arguineguinn . not knowing what to expect. wow what a huge space of wonderful Aladin type goodies.. i picked just three books to start me off and then a couple of summer tops at only one euro each. hey i am going to move down here to your area and buy more books and help out if i can for the month of jan and February. nice to meet you Brian. what a truly great shop and an amazing charity . hope lots more people support all you do

I’ve just read the story of Big Boy and it brought tears to my eyes. He’s no ugly cat, are there any ugly cats! I wish him, and all the other cats, a good home.
I also wish to compliment you with your photos of the black cats. Black cats are difficult to photograph. I have a black cat myself so I know. My cat is also from a shelter and he’s a loved member of the family. I wish more people would adopt a cat (or other animal) from the shelters.
I Think you are doing a wonderful job, helping animals in need. I visit your beautiful Island often and will donate money to you when I go back home. I wish you the bet of luck with your wonderful work.

my house is full with 4 cats but if I ever hear somebody needs a cat or dog on the island I send them to TARA! I hope in the future to help TARA as volunteer!!
And hope to help as many animals as possible, I always wanted to set up a cat shelter for all the wild and poor cats on the island:-(.
